As the multiverse in its universes changes from one universe to another.does it make sense to posit a mind behind it ?By application of parsimony,Iwould say no .As unique , one cannot ask what caused it as one can of its parts ,because of application of the fallacy of composition.By application of not begging the question ,one cannot make a distinction of the multiverse and a mind behind it:we know, therefore only of the multiverse. Therefore, would be a pseudo-explanation for a pseudo -problem to posit a nind behind the multiverse .

The multiverse is the atheist scientist trying to place the universe into something bigger that aint God!!!
Why not one universe with a beginning?
If it is expanding at an accelerating rate then it would appear that this universes fuure is infinte and there was no prior universe to crunch.

God'smind is timeless. He is the timeless creator of time.
Knot of this world
There is a theory...

...that everytime an entity correctly deduces the true nature of existence, its head hypernova's and creates another Universe, somewhere in Infinity...

so be careful with those thoughts, u-genes... biggrin.gif

This is philosophy applied to science. The point is that the muliverse just is.It is an improper question to ask why there is anything .One can ask of a n eternal mind the same question. The putative answer there to state that is committing the fallacy of multiple questions is itself arguing in a circle ,for it assumes that particular mind a s different and also is special pleading. It is just breaking parsimony to put forth the idea of that mind. The multiverse is just a brute fact.

Ooh, this is a good one!

If we consider that each point of Space is actually the centre of its own detectable, perceivable 'universe', and Space is Infinite, this explains how our minds can posit the idea of a 'multiverse'. Every wave-centre is the actual centre of its own spherical perception/detectability, or 'universe' (as Humans have called it).

As well, vice versa, the coherence of the quantum nature of matter only reaches so far into macroscopic spacetime.
