An automobile engine develops a torque of 220 mN at 3200 rpm. What is the horsepower of the engine?
i got 134 hp.
I used torqe*rpm divided by 5252. is that right or wrong

never mind i got 98.9. i had convert newton meters to pounds -feet.
can you help me with another problem though
Calculate the translational speed of a cylinder when it reaches the foot of an incline 13.8 m high. Assume it starts from rest and rolls without slipping.
M g H = (1/2) M R^2 w^2 + (1/2)(1/2) M R^2 w^2
The M's cancel to give
g H = (3/4) R^2 w^2
Solve for w. The translational energy is (1/2) M R^2 w^2
How do i find what R is

proabbaly read more of the problem and look for someting that gives the radius of the cylinder
or else solve for w in terms of r
