what is the moment of inertia of an symmetrical object about its centroidal axis

moment of inertia is the resistance of the object to rotational motion and so what is the unit?

moment of inertia is symbolized by I (i think)

and is

The summation of (big E) m*r^2 +m*r^2 (and so on)

m being mass
r being displacement from something

so
kg*m^2
