It would seem we could build something much like a faraday box that attracts and reroutes gravitons. This way, inside the box there would be no gravity?

Quite possible and in progress. Consider S-1 gravyphoton as a same vector electrogravity carrier. Only scale factor between is huge. So technology has to depend on "exotic" states of matter. Question of spin is nevertheless crucial also.
