Why are jet contrails sometimes so all encompassing and why do they usually precede a cold spell and or rain
This seems to be something new. In my experience observing the sky for 50 plus years. i remember seeing thin icy contrails behind jets. But when I was younger I do not remember seeing thick cloud emmissions that gradually fill the sky.

Yes I know this all so well,,,,,people like Arthur and others would like to make us think that by looking up at the very sky we were born under and observing changes somehow makes us silly or stupid .
But I have observed the environment intelligently for 46 years,[ I am 52, so i'll admit that at say age 5 I was not that fully aware] and by age 6 while looking at the sky ,although I had no comprehensive understanding I still formed coherent memories.
And yes not too many years ago ,,something changed and the sky became increasingly cluttered with planes giving off wide cloudy trails.
Does anyone want to dispute the fact that ,oh say just 15 years ago , jets gave off a narrow contrail that rapidly dissipated?
Does anyone dispute the fact that we have fewer sunny days free of overcast?
Does anyone dispute the fact that the 'gubermint' would not have a rational for
'protecting// hideing us from global warming?
Does anyone dispute the fact that the oil corporations would not have the same rationale?
And realize that in such a system ,it is not necessary at this stage to protect/hide global warming from the whole world. They would merely have to hide global warming from the most powerfull voteing group in the world,ie. the USA. Of course that stratedgy will only be necessary until their power is consolidated and of course at which time global warming is an unavoidable fact. At that time their rationale will be whatever they care to tell us or none at all.

I've heard that cum trails can become a problem when underwear goes unwashed for extended periods.
Chem-trails can be effectively picked up with a straw or rolled up dollar bill.

The idea that "chem trails" are some kind of conspiracy is pathetically loony. However, after 9/11 occurred, and all air travel over the nation was halted for several days, an interesting thing happened. Temperature monitoring stations all over the US noticed a 15% increase in solar radiation striking the planet. When air travel resumed a few days later, the data spike returned to the levels it was at before the attack. It seems that CON-trails reflect quite a bit of light and heat back into space, and if they were absent always, we would see the effects immediately. So CON-trails help mitigate global warming. Irony at its best...

Organizers said it was the largest event of its kind in the country.
"We no longer have natural clouds," said Ilya Sandra Perlingieri, an environmental writer and herbalist who was the opening speaker on Saturday. "In its place are geo-engineered nightmares that envelope our breathing, our sky."
Perlingieri added that instead of the blue skies of her childhood, the sky is now "a white spew of poison"

The conference also featured a speech Saturday night from comedian/actress turned presidential candidate Roseanne Barr, who is topping the Peace & Freedom Party's ticket, with anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan as her vice presidential pick. "The Air Force is focused on observing and forecasting the weather so the information can be used to support military operations. The Air Force is not conducting any weather modification experiments or programs and has no plans to do so in the future."
"The `Chemtrail' hoax has been investigated and refuted by many established and accredited universities, scientific organizations, and major media publications," the paper added.
Still, photographer Margo Jim, a retired teacher who lives in Mount Washington in northeastern Los Angeles, believes "normal planes don't fly like that."
Jim said she didn't initially buy into the chemtrails theory until nearly two years ago when she noticed the prevalence of sky tracks.
"I watched those things," she said pointing to her photo exhibit, collectively titled "Aerosol on High," that was on display Saturday at the conference. "By noon, it had formed this milky cover all over the sky, and I was outraged."

If the ambient air is dry, contrails will evaporate almost immediately. The ambient air must be "close to saturation with water" for a condensation trail to form (Reynolds).

Patrick Minnis, a senior research scientist at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, studied satellite images of contrail clouds of military craft during the three days airports were shut down in the U.S. after the 9/11 attacks. On a typical day, an estimated 13,000 planes crisscross the nation's skies. They create so many contrails that cross each other's paths that the satellite images are just a blur. Minnis found that the cirrus clouds formed from these contrails lasted an average of six to eight hours and that six to eight contrails can grow to form a cloud cover the size of Massachusetts (Kotulak).
The PCTs, relying on speculation and general distrust of the government, have maintained that:
1. Military aircraft are “spraying” biological or chemical agents via contrails and are flying formations which sometimes form odd shapes.
2. A new military jet fuel, JP-8 with additive +100, contains Ethylene dibromide, and contrails formed by this fuel are causing various illnesses.
3. Aircraft are spreading a cobweb type material which causes various illnesses.
4. Military aircraft are conducting weather control experiments, possibly in concert with the HAARP project. (Reynolds)
Consider, however, that any biological or chemical agents released at 25,000 feet or above would be absolutely impossible to control, making any measurement of effects on the ground nearly impossible. (Presumably, the perpetrators of this evil deed have immunized themselves against the effects of their poisons.) Such an exercise would be pointless, unless you just wanted to pollute the atmosphere. And where is the evidence of the illnesses being caused by these agents? Surely, these chemicals have been identified and the diseases have names? (Yes, according to Clifford E. Carnicom, who claims he's analyzed ground-level air samples and they contained a lot of bad stuff.* Of course, we have to take it on faith that these ground-level samples blew his way from some government plane that dumped toxic chemicals somewhere in the sky at some time, presumably in the past.) If you have a desire to poison your people, do it on a night when the wind isn't blowing and fly at low altitude, so you can have some control over where your poison lands. And use something that's invisible. Cobwebs and clouds dispersed in the troposphere might land more than a thousand miles from where you spew them out and would be visible to many people.

According to the PCTs, governments and pharmaceutical firms poison us because, as one of them puts it: "Chronically sick people are more useful than dead people."* How so, a rational person might wonder? If you are chronically sick, then you need expensive drugs and you are easier to enslave. Of course. Why didn't I think of that? On the other hand, if people weren't sick they could get jobs, pay taxes, stimulate the economy, pay for their drugs, and work for me.
The most reasonable explanation for the abundance of contrails in so many shapes and sizes is that (1) there has been an increase in commercial air traffic and (2) global warming is a reality. It does not follow from those facts—if they are facts—that there have not been government or military experiments that have involved airplanes spewing chemicals in the atmosphere (see Cole). But, it is a long way from that fact—if it is a fact—to supporting the notion that governments or pharmaceutical firms are systematically releasing chemicals into the atmosphere to make us sick as part of some twisted government plot.

If the ambient air is dry, contrails will evaporate almost immediately. The ambient air must be "close to saturation with water" for a condensation trail to form (Reynolds).
According to William Thomas, "contrails are pencil-thin lines that disappear quite soon, usually within one minute: anything else is a chemtrail, which is both sinister and bad for your health" (Sheaffer). According to Tony Thayer:
Chemtrails (CTs) look like contrails initially, but are much thicker, extend across the sky and are often laid down in varying patterns of Xs, tick-tack-toe grids, cross-hatched and parallel lines. Instead of quickly dissipating, chemtrails expand and drip feathers and mare's tails. In 30 minutes or less, they open into wispy formations which join together, forming a thin white veil or a "fake cirrus-type cloud" that persists for hours. (Thayer)
Contrails have been the object of scientific study for some time and are known to "seed the growth of cirrus clouds that can grow to enormous size." Contrails "appear to increase global temperatures by trapping in reradiated heat" (Sheaffer, who cites a ten-year study by the French climatologist Olivier Boucher published in Nature 397:30, 7 January 1999). "Depending on a plane's altitude, and the temperature and humidity of the atmosphere, contrails can vary enormously in their thickness and duration, and therefore in their reflecting or insulating power. Most last minutes or hours, some last days" (Clarke). "Fluffy rows of cirrus clouds created by the increasing number of jet contrails can sometimes fill half the sky" (Kotulak). PCTs deny the scientific evidence and maintain that contrails do not turn into puffy clouds.
Patrick Minnis, a senior research scientist at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, studied satellite images of contrail clouds of military craft during the three days airports were shut down in the U.S. after the 9/11 attacks. On a typical day, an estimated 13,000 planes crisscross the nation's skies. They create so many contrails that cross each other's paths that the satellite images are just a blur. Minnis found that the cirrus clouds formed from these contrails lasted an average of six to eight hours and that six to eight contrails can grow to form a cloud cover the size of Massachusetts (Kotulak).
The PCTs, relying on speculation and general distrust of the government, have maintained that:
1. Military aircraft are “spraying” biological or chemical agents via contrails and are flying formations which sometimes form odd shapes.
2. A new military jet fuel, JP-8 with additive +100, contains Ethylene dibromide, and contrails formed by this fuel are causing various illnesses.
3. Aircraft are spreading a cobweb type material which causes various illnesses.
4. Military aircraft are conducting weather control experiments, possibly in concert with the HAARP project. (Reynolds)
Consider, however, that any biological or chemical agents released at 25,000 feet or above would be absolutely impossible to control, making any measurement of effects on the ground nearly impossible. (Presumably, the perpetrators of this evil deed have immunized themselves against the effects of their poisons.) Such an exercise would be pointless, unless you just wanted to pollute the atmosphere. And where is the evidence of the illnesses being caused by these agents? Surely, these chemicals have been identified and the diseases have names? (Yes, according to Clifford E. Carnicom, who claims he's analyzed ground-level air samples and they contained a lot of bad stuff.* Of course, we have to take it on faith that these ground-level samples blew his way from some government plane that dumped toxic chemicals somewhere in the sky at some time, presumably in the past.) If you have a desire to poison your people, do it on a night when the wind isn't blowing and fly at low altitude, so you can have some control over where your poison lands. And use something that's invisible. Cobwebs and clouds dispersed in the troposphere might land more than a thousand miles from where you spew them out and would be visible to many people.

According to the PCTs, governments and pharmaceutical firms poison us because, as one of them puts it: "Chronically sick people are more useful than dead people."* How so, a rational person might wonder? If you are chronically sick, then you need expensive drugs and you are easier to enslave. Of course. Why didn't I think of that? On the other hand, if people weren't sick they could get jobs, pay taxes, stimulate the economy, pay for their drugs, and work for me.
The most reasonable explanation for the abundance of contrails in so many shapes and sizes is that (1) there has been an increase in commercial air traffic and (2) global warming is a reality. It does not follow from those facts—if they are facts—that there have not been government or military experiments that have involved airplanes spewing chemicals in the atmosphere (see Cole). But, it is a long way from that fact—if it is a fact—to supporting the notion that governments or pharmaceutical firms are systematically releasing chemicals into the atmosphere to make us sick as part of some twisted government plot.
