Why not - it can eliminate the small surface area of mobile displays. Furthermore, you can use the projector as a flash light and light source for night photos, stroboscope and for signalization purposes, because the color of light can be modulated fast.

It'd probably last for 5 mins, and then it's curtains for the batteries (ie.... need a recharge) hehe
And using an AC adapter doesn't count, because that might as well be a conventional mini projector.
