Yes, your observation is accurate from an evolutionary viewpoint of the Cancer Cells and at both the biochemical and immunological levels, whereby Cancer or cancerous Stem Cells gain favorable conditions (including the gene-environment interactions) and proliferate and spread in a host—such as, us the human beings!
