Ah, Capitalism. America"s gift to Japan after bombing the hell out of them in WWII. We should have seen it coming, what with their strong work ethic and social uniformity. Now I only hope we don"t see the same thing here (more than we do already!).

They already had capitalism. They never had the other things we have like cheez

I'm sort of afraid of the extropians and singularity people even though I'm a high technology person myself. If the AI and cyberpeople and the nanopeople all start making superhumans, we might be relegated to the status of lab rats in the new society. Society has dehumanized people to the point that there is no loyalty to the human race itself.
