Do the scientists who have sent their breakthrough material consider lay individuals concepts, or questions?

My questions are:

1: These platinum wires still seem large for the observation of brain cells. Is the wire used actually an organic source platinum tisane?

2: Whatever source the platinum is, does the wire contact the phosphenes or nitrates which might refocus rod-platelet storage into a renewd function for the micro-view of the body?

(As if the rod-platelets restacked, and functioned as if polysaccharides.)

Any connection?

Just an idea. I am an herb researcher. I have the intention of working with medicine and genetics (but this lifetimes" study is to serve the next.)

No, it is inorganic, ie: metal alloy Platinum wires have nothing to do with herbs. blink.gif

Huh? The 'interface' is elctro-chemical, involving ion transport, specifically Ca+. We are talking cell membranes.

What is rod-platlet storage? What is 'micro-view of the body'?

i was wondering if this research has been tested on anyone ?If it has i would gladly volunteer.I have had a fascination with the idea of this for many years would be willing to risk it if you are willing to test it.

I am familiar with Dr. Llinas work, and would like to extrapolate on the larger human implications of abilities to use nanoscale science, engineering, and medicine to manipulate functions of the human body, and specifically the brain. It is obvious that there are promising applications for health, which is great and we should allow these voluntary uses, but there are also daunting issues about potential restraints on human freedom. I invite those who care, to visit the scope of some of these raised here: Center for Cognitive Liberty & Ethics

Test it on John Lilly. He experimented with PCP and ketamine in the 60's he experimented on himself till they put him in a mental institution. Why are you voluntering for that experiment so uncritically? That has not even been tested completely in animals.

I am the President of Vulvox Nanobiotechnology Corporation we have some very sophisticated DNA nanoelectronics projects that could be used to stimulate people's brains in virtual reality experiments or other uses such as clinical probes. Tom Netzel a past President of the American Chemical Society will work on our DNA nanoprocessors and nanowires in his lab if I can find investors who will fund our project. Contact

The use of nano-colonies, as transporters to a site, to assemble themselves, to utility, must be weighed against invasive at-site assemblies, via input.

This area of endeavor is within medical ethics, I defer all comment.
