MjolnirPants
So which one is it, folks? Sorry, there are a few people I couldn't include on the list, but those who deserve consideration fer this title would be too numerous to fill out the list while still leavin room for a few cranks...
I vote for Alpha, by the way. Not that I think some o the others don't know their stuff, but String Theory is very in-depth, an that's his specialty.

The last 3 choices are most hilarious comic relief. laugh.gif

Excellent work MjolnirPants. laugh.gif
Sapo
It was a very tough choice!

No denigration of AlphaNumeric at all, but I voted for Stuart, simply because he's older. rolleyes.gif

I reckon if I get enough votes we could start up a poll fer the second most knoweldgable person here, an use the results o the two to pick a winner, n then we can all go pos 'im.

Why is my name not in here? mad.gif

I voted mr_homm since he is the next most knowledgeable after me.
TheDoc
I voted rpenner.

EDIT: Nice poll MjolnirPants. Now you've given me an idea for another poll ph34r.gif

Who Is The Most Knowledgeable Person Here?

to make that assessment would require me to know more than, or at least equal to the knowledge of that person. if this were the case, i would be one of the most knowledgeable persons here? ph34r.gif

i do not know who is the most knowledgeable person here.

Raphie Frank
For my money, disagree with him as I often do, it's RPenner in terms of overall breadth and depth of knowledge (including the humanities). Alphanumeric, however, whom I disagree with even more often, has a laser of a mind when it comes to the nitty gritty of physics and, to a lesser degree (but only relatively speaking) math.

Best teacher?

That's a no-brainer for me at least... mr_homm.

Hey sec, how about keeping this thread on topic instead of turning it into an opportunity for you to try to win the approval of others via pointless insults?

A quick suggestion for you... just don't respond to this post, because you'll ruin the flow of the thread and it's a good thread.

Cheers,
Raphie

Ok, just in this one instance. smile.gif
DuzmA
Definitely rpenner.
Euler
I voted for AlphaNumeric, but now I'm regretting the decision. Had I voted for myself, I wouldn't be in the rather embarrassing position of being tied with StevenA and Farsight...

Oh the shame!
Sapo
ohmy.gif Lord, quick! Somebody vote for Euler!
Euler
Well it would seem I got the sympathy vote! Hurrah!
soundhertz
The most knowledgeable person on the list, based solely on posts, is rpenner, because knowledgeable means possessing a wide range of true information, not just a lot of info on one subject.
My favorite is TRoc, who despite years of illuminating posts is relatively unknown.

I second every word of that. smile.gif
Ron
Although rpenner, euler, AN and others are way above their peers, I voted fro Mr. Homm because of his well rounded education.
Peace,
Ron
