Thank you.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whiteboardhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marker_penMany Colleges, Institutions, Schools use now the Whiteboards for Teaching. The Whiteboard marker uses an erasable ink which can be refilled. The Whiteboards are made of surfaces like
viz Melamine, Painted steel or aluminum, Hardcoat laminate, Porcelain, enamel-on-steel.
The Whiteboards have replaced the old Blackboards with writing medium of chalk also known as chalkboard.
The Whiteboards are expensive as compared to chalkboards.
1. In terms of Technology, is there also scope for trying different materials (ink : Toluene and Xylene) used for whiteboard markers and trying other surface materials for whiteboards ?.
2. Can there will be also scope for creating new boards, marker pens, inks replacing the whiteboards and chalkboards ?.
For example : Electronic Whiteboard etc.
Electronic whiteboard -> Chips embedded within the board, Whiteboard driven by primary source of electricity i.e. Alternating current.
Portable Electronic whiteboard -> Chips embedded within the board, Whiteboard driven by
secondary source of power i.e. Batteries.
etc.
The Portable Electronic whiteboard may or maybe of no use for manufacturing but what came in my mind was Portability. The Major Design aspect for any portable instrument viz electronic, mechanically,
electro mechanical device is compactness. i.e. Low Weight which offers east to carry the instrument.
What i feel is maybe the Portable Whiteboard could be useful fixing in the car and other four wheeler automobiles. This could be useful while discussing any topics with other people traveling in the car.
The Portable Whiteboard has to be fixed in such a way that a mirror image should fall for visualization of writing done to all people traveling in the vehicle.
The Wireless Cellular Device has limited space (window i.e. rectangular area) for explanation.
Can we manufacture Wireless Electronic Whiteboards ?.
The Electronic Whiteboard (Receiver) has chips embedded to receive the signals
via the Remote control. The Remote Control has interface similar to a Cell Phone Device
i.e. able to type all characters, numbers, special characters etc.
The User can type the characters through the remote control device which can be visualized on the Electronic Whiteboard.
We can try Cellular Wireless Remote Device for typing characters replicated exactly on the LCD / LED Television Set before manufacturing a Wireless Electronic Whiteboard.
