I have heard a great deal of ill-will towards this fellow, since he's deemed to be selling a snake oil product (a ring that makes you immortal?)

I'm as anxious as the next person to stop aging, but I'd prefer people focus in different areas.

Thanks for your reply. Anyway, what this guy doesn't understand is that aging isn't caused by blood circulation and stuff about magnets in the south and north pole. It's caused by the free radicals that destroy cells and telomeres that shorten with each cell division. After time, the cells are destroyed and when enough is destroyed, the body dies as well. Nothing can prevent this from happening. It's an inevitable part of life programmed into our cells during billions of years of evolution.

I wouldn't say nothing. It's perfectly plausible that the mechanisms that protect the germline from aging could be applied to all our stem cells. Better ROS scrubbing, telomerase, etc.

It's a matter of finding out what's wrong, and trying to fix it.
