I took 400 IU vitamin E per day for several years until convincing tests were performed indicating that it was ineffectual. I quit taking it at that point.
When I started reading this article, I received the initial impression that I might do well to resume Vitamin E self-therapy.
I am glad that the author(s) of the article was/were candid enough to state that dosage at higher levels needed tests to determine the actual value of higher doses.
I have no intention to resume taking Vitamin E until meaningful tests are performed which prove the values, if any, of high doses of Vitamin E.
