I am trying to figure what consists of the Crush distance, so as to use the formula for Acceleration related to Velocity and Crush.

My truck's steel and chome bumper was hit from behind by a soft bumper vehicle, going 15 miles per hour, it was pushed upwards by 1.5 cm and pushed in by 1.27 cm. The truck , which was stopped with the brakes on, ALSO moved forward 6 inches.

Assuming the other vehicle had the same crush distance, is the crush: the angular distance between the two vectors of the bumper damage , times two, plus the distance the truck moved or WHAT IS IT????
