I have maintained for some time that any power source in nanobots will be dangerous to our cells. Also that nanobots left in our body could be dangerous too since there is no way of getting them all out.
There could also be malfunctions, which is a problem with more complicated technology. These nanobots are so small that even casual cosmic rays could damage them or at least damage their programming, so that they could harm us instead of helping us.
