Pentagon Official: U.S. Is Not Developing Space Weapons
STRASBOURG, France - The United States is not developing space weapons and could not afford to do so even if it wanted to, an official with the Pentagon's National Security Space Office said Thursday.
Pete Hays, a senior policy analyst at the space office who is also associate director of the Eisenhower Center for Space and Defense Studies, said U.S. policy on space weaponry has remained pretty much the same over the last 30 years despite the occasionally heated debate on the subject during the administration of former U.S. President George W. Bush.
"There has not been one minute spent on this issue as far as I know," Hays said of U.S.
Defense Department policy on using weapons in space. "There are no space weaponization programs. It's an issue that academics like to flog now and then, but in terms of funded programs, there aren't any. I can tell you that categorically."
Hays made his remarks during a space security conference organized by the International Space University here. He said that even if the United States decided to embark on a space-based weapon system, it could not pay for it given its current military program commitments.
Hays said the U.S. policy of refusing to sign a treaty banning space-based weapons has not changed since the 1970s. Despite occasional efforts, no administration, Democrat or Republican, has been able to craft an acceptable treaty.

I am not out to win a popularity contest.
It seems that in this age of being able to have the connivance of a personal computer for communications availbity, that one runs into all sorts on the internet.
These are harassers, or posters that are paid to disrupt.
In the realization of certain ethnenticities gaining social par with other, within Earth’s society, there is always it seems barriers that must be broken down.
Very simply put, without the harassment factor being told, there are influences within the territory of near and far space surrounding Earth, which may have maliferous intentions placed towards Earth based mankind.

The question reads, “Can plans be now made, that lie within a needed realm that would allow not only for now conventional sea ships, to use the existing tooling at their plants of manufacture, to rapidly overnight, manufacture a proposed large spacecraft, that could in effect be used in the role of a space going frigate or near sized battle cruiser“?
I am not asking pie in the sky here. I am merely asking the question to planners, could this rapid change is style of manufacture, utilizing almost the same tooling used for Navy ships now, be overnight converted to make larger ships to defend Earth?
The reasoning is, that if say international tensions were to heighten and a grand international conflagration were to commence, then after this point Earth defenses would remain markedly weakened.

One’ Battlefield Earth by Ron L. Hubbard is a very good book and movie that shows what can happen when a more superior race takes over another.
I am not promoting philosophy or religious beliefs here, I’m simply stating what happens when the superior race is cruel and gets the upper hand.
The second is in another war, where local to the area native guides, had warned a General concerning the potential foolishness of an act that he was going to do.
That entire regiment was massacred.

There are extraterrestrials outside the ones in the underground visiting this planet.
Some are mean and cruel.
There was a father to a daughter and a son in law who had a beam weapon of some sort, in South American discharged on him, a while back.
He was hurt and all red all over his body, but managed to get to his daughter and son in law, while freshly suffering from the effects of the apparent ray gun discharge to him.
His daughter was of course distressed and both her and the son in law rapidly took him to the hospital.
The sad part about this incident was, that part of his face and his anatomy started to slide off as the got him to the hospital emergency.
They literally had to take him to the hospital in a wheel barrel, because their poor father was falling apart before their eyes.
He had died in emergency. There was nothing that either the daughter, son in law of the staff at the emergency room, could do for their dear father.
At times, these are the people you are dealing with.

There are extraterrestrials outside the ones in the underground visiting this planet.
Some are mean and cruel.
There was a father to a daughter and a son in law who had a beam weapon of some sort, in South American discharged on him, a while back.
He was hurt and all red all over his body, but managed to get to his daughter and son in law, while freshly suffering from the effects of the apparent ray gun discharge to him.
His daughter was of course distressed and both her and the son in law rapidly took him to the hospital.
The sad part about this incident was, that part of his face and his anatomy started to slide off as the got him to the hospital emergency.
They literally had to take him to the hospital in a wheel barrel, because their poor father was falling apart before their eyes.
He had died in emergency. There was nothing that either the daughter, son in law of the staff at the emergency room, could do for their dear father.
At times, these are the people you are dealing with.
I have to settle for the term (nut case), for my postings handle here.
However’ by what I have told you here, if you in organized government do not take the hint, then it may be you and your underlings, that in some fashion will suffer.
My job, in the short throw, is only to illuminate these problems.
If you don’t listen to what I’m trying to warn you about, then its not my problem in the future tense to come, that others will suffer, because of your held stereotypes that there are no such things.
Because I am curtailed to this thread I would like to add the following.
There should be an instructive course on known and potential E.T.s.
This is so, as this will be an area that is rapidly coming up upon this society, but it neither realized or expected as of current.
This course should be taken from by year contact list, with a series of first contact protocols and or how to make contact with most kinds of off world species.
Even though this advice does not seem current now, it may be in the few short years from now, that such a course, will be badly needed?
Remember’ it was only a few years after the first world war, that Colonel Billy Mitchell had proved by an actual in-air demonstration, that with a few small airplanes, that his flight of aircraft, could sink a fully vested sea going battleship.
