What does an isentropic (adiabatic reversible) trayectory look like in a pressure temperature diagram for an ideal gas? and for water?
I know that for an ideal gas t/p^(gama-1/gama)=constant so p as a function of t is a weird root function blink.gif
Another question: what does a constant volume trayectory look like in a t-p diagram for an ideal gas? i'm guessing it's just a y=kx right? and for water?

Well, p = something by T^(gamma/(gamma-1))

Thus it will be something like parabolic function (for gamma = 5/3 it will be P = something by T^2.5 -- it increases even sharper than the square parabolic function)
