"Tattoo, IMO." "Oh, me too!"

Tattoos are mostly merely used to identify idiots. Most times they are not needed as it is self evident.

Well Doug Huffman,
That's a rather bold statement to make, im willing to bet that you dont know many tattooed people. At 22 years old I'm willing to bet that I myself have a higher IQ and could easily win a debate on your idiot theory proving you to be an ignorant piece of ***. I have a good 70% of my body covered in tattoos including my neck, arms, and hands...
So please Doug, open your mind, or shut your mouth.

Not to mention that "tattooed people are way more cool, and can probably kick your ***." IMHO, wink.gif

Feel free to tell me more about this at your leisure.. so only the smart people like "you" are free of any tattoo's.. very insightful, and enlightening.. so on average according to you, 1 in every 4 people are idiots..

BTW.. I am also one of those "idiots" you refer too.. you can come on by anytime you like and explain to me in much greater detail about it, I also have sons, 2 serving in the Corps, and one having done his time, I am sure they would love to hear from you as well as they are also the "idiots" you speak of.. just let me know when you would like swing by.
Darleen
Thank you to your sons for protecting us.You must be very proud!
People like the person who says we are idiots are not worth my time to type a reply to. I just wanted to send my Thanks to your sons :)

Dr. obvious
If the 50% of people who are below average can be considered idiots then I would expect at least 2 out of 4 people to be idiots. Well with in the 1 in 4 proposed.

Me being a tattoo artist and enthusiast, I love tattoos and tattooed people. But, Doug has the right to think what he wants to think. I'm the only tattooed person in my family so I've heard it all.

On the original topic, I think it would be a great addition to my stable to have a "not so permanent" ink. I love all of my tattoos and don't regret any of them. I may regret the placement but not the piece. I do a lot of "cover-up" work, and I'm sure if lasering wasn't so expensive, painful and time consuming people would have it done more often. As people grow older they also grow wiser, if you know what I mean. Most tattoos are an impulse thing and people make bad decisions on impulse. So in all I think the new inks are a good thing. They're going to fade more and they're aren't going to be as bright but that the choice you make when you go with a "not so permanent" ink. I like quotations. They're fun!

On another note. Being a NC State Wolfpack fan, any thing made by Duke is probably going to suck.

Ok, that's what I think.

I'm a 16 year veteran tattoo artist from a very well established shop in Ottawa, Illinois. I've been through the phase where people who have ink were looked down on. But times haven't changed, people have just opened their minds to more forms of ART, & different cultures (many that have been around for thousands of years). One of those "idiots" was Winston Churchill's MOTHER! Bet you didn't know that, oh wait, that bit of info just came from an "idiot"!
I have a total of 70 tattoos on my body & I'll continue to add more as long as there a events in my life that I would like to have symbolized in the same way. I would also like to update the ratio. The last survey taken showed 1 in3 women have at least 1 tattoo. Almost 50% of men have at least 1 tattoo. Tattoos are no longer for sailors and hookers. Wake up and smell the ink!!! mad.gif Here's to you, Kaneda!

I was going to leave a comment on the subject posted here but this first comment from "Doug" shocked me as I had to deal with preconceived ideas from ignorant people all my life about my choice in covering my body with ink!!! I am on inked nation so I don't have to even see, talk or explain myself to those small minded people. Now for you people that think he has the right to think and say what he wants, I feel the same way: but not on inked nation!!
Mister Doug, I'm sorry but this comment does not seem really smart to me as it really does not have anything to do with the subject posted on this page
and I have a question for you: What are you doing on this site?!?!
belly the idiot!
i just had to.......... the voices told me i had to make some idiotic comment.......... but then thats all tattoo'd ppl are accordin to one of the posters.........

personally i think i have done well for an idiot......... i dont know about the rest of the tattoo comunity, which is becoming a majority, with more and more people getting inked.

im chef by trade and have reached the top of the trade. i have ran resturants and last i checked some intelligence is needed in such a job, im sure i wouldnt have got where i am today if i was "just a tattoo'd idiot". im sure i wouldnt be allowed to train staff in the running of a busy kitchen, wouldnt be able to manage stock, ordering, menu planning, and of course cooking food every night for over 120 people..........

but then im a tattoo'd idiot so what do i know!

what i cant wait for is that dudes kids to come home inked up........... imagine the shock of realising your son or daughter is an idiot!

lil bit of advice before u judge........... im suprised no one has mentioned it to you before......... never judge a book by its cover..........

btw i have long hair too............ and im still a chef!

belly the tattoo'd idiot

Regular food health requirements dont quite care if you've got hair coming out your arse and making weeds in the backyard.
Long as you PROTECT the food you prepare with safety equipment, in this case it be a hair net.

And belly, if you meet ANYONE sensible with a tattoo they're probably some of the smartest and most docile of the society.
Despite the tattoo some prefer it for self-coincedence rather than be a bad-arse mofo with it.

If you live in america your president is amongst the dumbest kin to mankind this earth has seen and is and has disgusted millions for the sake of ''duty'' and ''knowledge''.
Just because you can run a kitchen well does not make you intelligent in the least, just because you speak the english language that makes you intelligent.

Intelligent is a form of well-being, even despite that ''smart'' and ''dumb'' are all classifications and not meant to be held as it is said.

all tatoos say the same thing > " i make bad decisions"

I for one plan to invest in companies that manufacture tattoo removal equipment. You all my think they are cool, but wait a few years untill they start to blurr and lose their color. All you are left with is an ugly blob. Regardless of what the media says, tattooing is not accepted by the mainstream business world. How many successfull business people do you see covered with tattoos? Been there, done that!

I enjoy other people having tattoos, but I don't have one because like all the other Un-tattooed, I'm afraid of commitment and unable to make a decision. ;)

Unfortunantly everyone always wants to hide something. Not even worth trying for really. Why right.
