To understand the story of the sixth day in Genesis; one must first understand that two different stories are being told about this sixth day, and yet, these two stories do harmonize. In the first story, this sixth day is involved in the story of heaven and earth, Genesis 2:4-Such is the story of heaven and earth, when they were created. When Yahweh made earth and heaven-; note that the expression “heaven and earth” now appears in the reverse order “earth and heaven” two different stories about the same story, are told about this sixth day. Genesis 1:24a-Yahweh said, “Let the earth bring forth every kind of living creature- The portrait was one in which humans and animals did not compete for food, or consume one another. Humans were vegetarian. All life, human and animal, is sacred to Yahweh, blood is the symbol of life. By understanding these animals were on the earth before Adam; this understanding has led to a lot of different concepts, too much speculation to be taken seriously. Creationists believe that the biological similarities between various species, are due to a common Designer, who designed similar functions for similar purposes in all the various forms of life, from the simplest to the most complex. Evolutionist believe that the biological similarities between species, are evidence of common ancestry between all forms of life; Darwin and his Origin of Species, the Phylogenetic Tree, these are strong evidence of evolution. Consider now the portrait of humans, humans are important, according to which humankind is the goal of the entire process of creation; and in fact, Yahweh’s view of humans really emerges from both these stories, when they’re read together.

Genesis 2:5-6 - When no shrub of the field was yet on earth and no grasses of the field had yet sprouted, because Yahweh had not sent rain upon the earth and there was no man to till the soil, but a flow would well up from the ground and water the whole surface of the earth.

As the fifth day comes to an end, how that fifth day ended, hard to say; but nothing alive, got out alive. Yahweh didn’t send any rain, to water the ending of this fifth day, nothing breathing oxygen, no man to till the soil. As the sixth day begins, a flow would well up from the ground, and water the whole surface of the earth, their was nothing alive on the earth until Genesis 2:7.

Genesis 2:7 - Yahweh formed man from the dust of the earth. He blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.

I have seen a lot of stuff taught about this subject, and it never amazes me how people will not go for this nothing made it out alive, when the fifth a day came to an end?

There are a lot of problems with days 1-5, so your discussion of "day 6" is unpersuasive.

Inharmonious events claimed in Genesis 1-2

1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Claim: God Created heaven and earth alone (c.f Isaiah 44:24 "I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.")
Claim: God did not create heaven and earth alone, Jesus helped (c.f John 1:10 "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not." and 1 Corinthians 8:6 "Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom all things are and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and through whom we exist.")
Archbishop James Ussher claims the Universe was created in 4004 B.C. but his reasoning is not 100% biblical
Claim: About 13.7 billion years ago the visible universe was much hotter and much more compact that in was today -- so hot and dense that our empirical observations can't say much about its state then, and it expanded, grew cool enough for nuclei with masses below 8 to form, and eventually cooled enough to form transparent empty space, stars and galaxies. Stars created carbon and other high-atomic weight nuclei and would occasionally explode, contaminating the primordial hydrogen and helium. The contaminants formed a huge number of bodies from the gas clouds that condensed to form later stars and one such body in the cloud that condensed to form the sun was the proto-Earth. Throughout, the evidence is consistent with the laws of physics being very much like the are today without evidence of exterior intervention

1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Claim: First Earth and Dark, then Light, then Day and Night -- a good deal later, the sun.
Claim: First hot denseness, then uncomfortably warm darkness, then stars lighting the darkness. Billions of years later, when the proto-Earth formed, it had rotational momentum from the original collapsing cloud which would later form its cycle of day and night depended on what part of the surface was facing the sun at the time.

1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Claim: There was once a canopy of water hanging above the surface of the Earth.
Claim: There is still the potential for a canopy of water hanging above the surface of the Earth. c.f. Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork."
Claim: Any such canopy would require support beyond materials known to science. A canopy of any great height would have enormous potential for damage were it to fall. There is no evidence of such a canopy today or ever.

1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
Claim: Water merely statically laying in basins is the reason why this planet is about 71% water by surface area rather than 100%
Claim: There are 3 main factors to where the shorelines of the world are: a ) Dense Basalt and Magma, b ) Lighter granite continental rock c) Water. The churning of the magma bunches up the continental rock into mountains which weather down into plains. The bunched-up raft of continental rock didn't stay contiguous and broke up, leaving evidence of hundreds of millions of years of continental drift.

1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Claim: Land plants came before fish and animals and man. Flowering plants came before pollinators

Claim: Man created before other animals and plants
Claim: The source of the Euphrates river is in Eden
Claim: The source of the Euphrates is the confluence of two rivers originating in eastern Turkey.
Claim: If one eats of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, one will die that same day.

Claim: All populations of terrestrial life known today are related by common descent with modification. Natural selection is one of the primary forces behind the illusion of progress in this history, but works just as well in other, less anthropocentric directions. Before plants or animals was a variety of populations of single-celled organisms. While many multi-cellular life forms are easily classified as plant or animal, some straddle the boundary of simple textbook definitions which is a common problem in classification when all organisms are survivors of an ancient family that includes both redwoods and cheetahs. While algae might have colonized the land in scummy pools or mud roughly 1.8 billion years ago, it wasn't until about 0.45 billion years ago that the oldest evidence of plants on land was left, with plants with seeds not coming until about 0.38 billion years ago, but there is no evidence of fruit or flowers until about 0.13 billion years ago. Claim: Astrology is reliable c.f. Judges 5:20 "The stars in their courses fought against Sisera." Matthew 2:1-2 "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." Luke 21:25 "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars."
Claim: God hates astrology. c.f. Leviticus 19:26 "Neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times." Deuteronomy 18:10-12 "There shall not be found among you any ... that useth divination, or an observer of times.... For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD." Isaiah 47:13-14 "Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. Claim: Astrology is bunk

Claim: The Sun, Moon and Stars came into existence after the creation of the Earth and the day-night cycle and land plants.
Claim: Stars came first, then the proto-sun and proto-earth. Probably after the Sun ignited, a large body smacked the Earth, ionized its atmosphere and formed the moon. Speculation is that this event is one of the reasons the Earth has active plate tectonics to this day. In any event, the moon was formed billions of years before land plants arose.
Claim: The moon is a lesser light
Claim: The moon, like the other planets, mostly just reflects the light of the sun. The lunar soils has a lot of glassy drops formed by collisions and this is part of the reason the moon has an unearthly luster.
Claim: The motion of the heavens control the seasons, the constellations are authored signs
Claim: The particular motions of the Earth about the sun and about its own axis control the seasonal change in illumination per square meter which drives the seasonal weather patters and the changing direction of what direction the zenith points at midnight. Far from being authored, the constellations have no physical proximity and or statistically detected order and their stars are in motion such that the constellations today differ

Claim: The moon is to rule the night
Claim: Half the time the moon is out during daylight, yet the sun is practically never seen at night.

Claim: The stars are to give light upon the earth.
Claim: Starlight (other than the sun's) is extreme dim for human purposes.

Claim: Male humanity preceded female humanity by a significant period of time.

Claim: It is good for man to touch a woman.
Claim: It is not good for man to touch a woman. 1 Corinthians 7:1,7-8 "It is good for a man not to touch a woman. .. For I would that all men were even as I myself. ... It is good for them if they abide even as I."
Claim: If it is good for the human species to continue, then some men should touch a woman. Misogyny doesn't seem optimal even if your interests aren't geared towards pair-bonding when half your potential source of information and income are women.
