The theory of the “Big”
Nothing
And its effect on everything
(not the full version)
By Halldor Gunnar Halldorsson
----------------------------
What the theory of the “Big” Nothing addresses
It explains how everything is relative to where you are in space.
It explains why the universe is constantly gaining energy.
It explains time and that time is only a measuring scale.
It explains how time runs faster or slower all depending on position in space. And it explains why one would still always experience “one hour” the same.
It explains gravity. And it explains that gravity is not the same everywhere in space. But still it always seems to be the same to one experiencing it.
It explains how light travels at different speeds depending on where in space it is travelling. But it also explains how light still seems to travel at the same speed to all observers, no matter where they are in space.
It explains that our universe is after all not that big.(partly full version)
It explains black holes and what happens to matter that is sucked into one of those.(full version)
It explains why antimatter cannot be stable in our universe.(full version)
It explains how everything is relative to everything else and its”momentous” position in space.
It explains that we have a parallel universe. And it explains why we cannot see it.(full version)
All these things together explain how our universe works.

Introduction
Hey, my name is Halldor. I want to tell you something about nothing.
I am not educated in physics or astronomy. I am not a mathematician. I am a carpenter. That explains why the theory is written in a common language but not in methods and words mostly used by those educated in this field. But I think everyone who wants to can understand what I mean, fully educated or not.
I will make some bold statements that might make a physicist smile a little and shake the head over the “nonsense”. I am only being honest instead of careful, and I can because I am not a physicist. I am just a carpenter playing in the playground of physics.
Despite of bold statements in the theory, e=mc2 stands firm according to it in whole, at least as I understand the equation. It even explains it better to me.
This is not the full version of the theory. If someone is interested I can post it later. I just thought this was long enough like this to post here.
--------------------------
The Nothing started
We will start at Big Bang. It was probably just jet another step in the circle of the universe but since that is as far back as we can “see” we will not go any further.
Before big bang there was no space. There was no Nothing in our universe.
Then it happened. Space.
Suddenly space started to grow from nothing. This space is a complete opposite to material. It might be the dark matter that so many are waiting for to be discovered. But space is really nothing.
This “Nothing” is nothing. You cannot see it. You can not feel it. You cannot smell it. But you can put matter into it.
Space is everywhere around us and in us. But still space is nothing. There seem to be endless amounts of this Nothing up in space. Today we experience that there is so much of it that we become overwhelmed just trying to think about how much Nothing there is. It is not easy to think about so much of nothing. But Nothing has really no size. Its size is relative.
But when Big Bang occurred there was not so much space. It started from nothing and grew on from there. It did not start big or with a bang. It was smaller than we can think of and the process was as quiet as a Sunday morning.
The matter that found itself suddenly in this space makes it grow. Because Nothing has no size then you cannot reach the “end” of it. So as matter started to move, the space grew. If matter moves faster, the space grows faster.
And the most important thing to realise is that when the Nothing grows, matter moves. Most of the matter is kind of in the same place that it was in the beginning.
Yes, most of the matter is in the same place as it was in the first moments after Big Bang. But everything is so far from each other today because the Nothing did not stop growing. It grows and grows. It is like a big balloon that does not stop growing. And it will not stop growing when it has matter in it. That is because the matter close to the “edge” of the “balloon” force it to grow because matter cannot reach the edge of Nothing. The Nothing has no size and there for no end.
We can thank Nothing for our existence. Isn’t that something?
------------------------
Time
With the Nothing there came time.
Time can only exist in space. If there is no space there is no time. Time is not an individual thing. It is the result of space.
Time like we understand it does really not exist. Time is only a measurement we have like meters, feet, ounces, litres, degrees and so on. Time measures the movement of matter in space.
Time is the only three dimensional measuring scale we have.
Without time matter would be stuck in space. It could not move around in this big Nothing. But matter can always move in space. That indicates time is a measurement but not an individual thing.
You can not stop time, but for you time can stop. You cannot go forward or backwards in time because it does not exist individually. You cannot even travel in time in theory. But you can see most things through time, not all. If there is any interest I can explain that later.
Memories are the cause for why we think of time like we do. We are no less than a miracle. We are matter that can register position of matter in this Nothing and use that data later. But that is all memories are. Registering position of surten matter at a surten place in space, not time. Take a pen and put it on a table. Look at it for a moment and then move it. Then look at it again. You remember when the pen was in another place. Your mind registered it. The time it was there was a measurement.
Time slows down when you travel fast. The faster you travel the more time slows down. This is because if you travel very very fast you are a tiny bit closer to being everywhere in the Nothing at the same time. And since time is a measurement of matter moving in the Nothing it shows lower measurements when you travel very fast because if you could be everywhere at the same “moment” you could not register your movement in space.
When you reach the speed of light time stops. That is because at that speed you reach the point of being at two places in space at the same “moment” and that is not possible so time stops. Why time stops is because the matter or energy moving at light speed cannot have any movement within itself and there for there is not possible to register movement within that matter or energy. Speed of light might somehow indicate the “real size” of our universe.
------------------------
Gravity
The theory of the big Nothing explains the reason for gravity.
The Nothing is always growing. It grows and grows. But matter in the Nothing does not grow. It always has the same size, it is stable. This creates “attraction” around matter. And the more matter the more attraction.
The easiest way to explain this is to think of a free fall. As we see something in a free fall here on Earth we are really seeing it in 2d not 3d. An object that moves from one point to another is travelling/falling in 2d. Space is increasing all the time between the object falling and its starting point. An object that falls in 3d must be like a galaxy/star/planet if it falls “in”, or the universe if it falls “out”. If something falls “in” it falls into one point from all directions. Space is increasing from all directions, just like gravity. If something falls “out” it is falling outwards from one point in all directions, just like the expansion of the universe.
There is just really not much more to say about gravity. It is just that simple.
-------------------------------
Light in the big Nothing
Here come some of the bold statements I mentioned in the introduction. When the whole theory is put together it explains this.
Waves or photons are not matter. They are caused by matter when matter moves. Heat is also caused by matter when matter moves. But just like waves heat is not matter. Even if I am wrong here and light is “dissolved” matter the theory stands. Give me a little chance and continue, after all I am just a carpenter.
Light has no gravity. What is not matter has no gravity. Only matter creates gravity when it is positioned in the ever growing Nothing.
The light is affected by gravity. But it has no gravity.
Light attracts towards gravity due to the ever growing Nothing. When it passes matter, a galaxy, star or a planet, then the discrepancies between the growing nothing and the stable matter causes the lights path to bend. It is not “pulled” by gravity, it is affected by it because of the discrepancies.
We do not know anything that travels as fast as the light.
The light always travels faster than the Nothing grows. But that is not always the same speed, it is relative to the growth of the Nothing. Another bold statement, I know. But continue reading, this will be explained.
Light speed is relative. Light speed is relative to the lights position in the Nothing. But all observers in the Nothing observe light at exactly the same speed.
Just like time, light is a result of space. If matter cannot move around it cannot create light. Light has its own rules in the “Big” Nothing. From the lights point of view there is no “Big” in front of Nothing.
Light can travel despite if it is photons or waves. If it is waves it travels because it is stuck in “time”. It is “created” and as soon as that has happened it gets stuck as a wave. It does not need anything to wave in because it is not waving. It starts to wave again when it hits something, like your eye.
---------------------------------
Movement and energy in the big Nothing
The vast distances “we experience” in space are because of the Nothing is always growing.
Everything in space seems to move very fast from the centre where Big Bang occurred. And the further away the matter is the faster it seems to move.
But all the big things, f.e. galaxies, are not moving that much. The Nothing is only growing everywhere around us.
It is known today that the galaxies that are double so far from where Big Bang occurred then we are travel double as fast as we do.
But they, like we, are in fact not moving at all. The Nothing is growing and as they are double so far as us from the “centre” the distance between them and that place grows double so fast. That is why they seem to travel so fast.
As the Nothing grows larger and larger, the matter in it gains more and more energy. This energy cannot be used. It is a part of the “system”.
Just like time and light, energy is the result of the “Big” Nothing. If matter is completely still in a place without space it has no energy. But there is one exception. The tiny amount of energy that started it all. That first energy came from somewhere else and was not the result of the “Big” Nothing.
-----------------------------
The relativity of everything
Now it comes to explaining the whole picture.
The Nothing is like a growing balloon. It has a “centre”.
In the centre there is no measurement of movement with time, time stands still. Let’s say that you would be positioned there and move just a little bit from the centre, in any direction.
Now imagine that you are a little bit out of the centre. Now you would be positioned in the ever growing Nothing and that alone would make you move further away from the centre. You would not have to move any more, space is created between you and the centre because the “balloon” is always growing.
The further away from the centre you are, the faster you move. That is because there is more Nothing growing between you and the centre. This alone gives you energy. You cannot use it, but you gain it. And from there you would continue gaining it forever.
Earth is positioned somewhere in the “Big” Nothing. Let’s just say that it is in the middle between the centre and the “edge”. The Earth spins around the Sun and the solar system around the centre of the Milky Way. The Milky Way is always travelling faster and faster from the centre. And as it gains more speed and there for energy it spins faster and faster, as does the Earth around the Sun. And all the creatures on Earth move faster and faster. But still an hour will always feel as the same period of “time” to all those creatures.
Now let’s imagine an Earth like planet close to the “edge”. It moves allot faster than Earth and there for it has gained much more energy than Earth and spins much faster around whatever it spins around. This makes time there go faster than here on Earth equal to how much more energy it has gained in “movement”.
This is something I will call “energy zones”. Space can be divided into energy zones from the centre and out to the “edge”. And it affects everything. Time goes faster at the “edge”, light travels faster and matter has more gravity.
Time goes faster because of more speed. Remember that time is only a measurement of movement. And the faster movement, the lower measurement is measured. Lower measurement means less time.
Light travels faster because its speed is relative to space. If space grows faster, light travels faster. But also remember that to an observer light travels just as fast as the light we observe here on Earth. That is because time goes faster for the observer positioned close to the “edge”.
Matter has more gravity because the Nothing is growing faster closer to the “edge”. That causes more discrepancies between the growing Nothing and the stable matter. But since everything is spinning and moving faster, for one positioned in a higher energy zone, it seems to be just the same gravity as we experience in our energy zone.
Everything is relative to position, but everything will always look and feel the same to an observer close and far away.
This might be a little bit hard to swallow. I know. Why do we see everything according to our “energy zone” when we point the world’s best telescopes out into the “Big” Nothing? Well that is because the light that we are looking at has changed its speed on its way to us. When it travels it always travels at the top speed of the energy zone it is in. Light travelling from the “edge” towards the centre slows down. Light travelling the other way speeds up. This happens because of the ever growing balloon, the space, the “Big” Nothing.
No matter how far or for how long the universe will continue to expand we will always be able to look at far away galaxies, even if they are travelling from us in more speeds then the light. At their own place in space the speed of light is higher than their travelling speed. There for they will only be travelling faster than light from our point of view, not their own.
The bottom line of the theory is that everything is relative. The universe is always expanding and gaining energy as it does so. Its “engine” is the space that “grows”, the Nothing. Energy, speed and time are not the same everywhere. An observer always experiences the world from his point of view. But all observers experience the world in the same way despite of position is space. This “system” is perfect.

I really think I am right and I have some suggestions how to prove it. They are, among other things, in the full version. But first I want to see if you guys eat me alive or not. At least those of you who reached this point after 8 pages of reading a carpenters view to the universe.
Best regards to you all
