The Law of Success explains the connection between society and the individual and how an individual is affected by society and how itself affects society.
Watch the clip and lets have a discussion. I find this fresh and interesting. It is saying that we as individuals naturally seek recognition from the people around us in whatever we do. This means whatever society holds up as praise worthy, we will strive to achieve just that. This even applies to doing unlawful acts in society. For example if I cheat the state off millions of dollars through fraud, even if it is not viewed highly by the general society but in the society of convicts I'll be viewed as a genius.
Back to the Law of Success. So the goals we set for ourselves are connected to what society holds up high in value. We seem to be slaves to society and yet still believes that all accomplishments belongs to us since we did the work. As slaves to society, whatever work we perform goes back to society. Reading this one finds no reason to work for others and would rather work for oneself. But how can one work for oneself when there aren't any recognition?
