Raphie Frank
Some posters on these boards seem to believe that our tiny little corner of the Universe we might well call the "Humaniverse" is chock full of odious, malicious deceivers out to fool all of "you" into believing heresies no less shocking than the Wright Bros. believing man might fly [presumably to some kind of (no doubt) Satanic ends...] Ha! The absurdity!

Tell your best lie here, folks. Let's get it all out in the open. And I will even start:

---------------------------------------------------------
HYPOTHESIS
The Laws of Physics can be applied to psyche and society no less surely so than to the Cosmos in which they reside.
---------------------------------------------------------

Surely someone can top that "feeble-minded" lie.

Come on folks: Lie one. Lie all. Let the cards scatter wherever they may fall...

Best,
RF

Ha! Such an obvious falsehood should not pass unchallenged...

Thank you C2. All was mystery heretofore. I now shall wander and wonder no more. All the same, are you absolutely positively sure the "answer" is not "42"?

Let sleeping gods lie.

The lie is, that Earth based mankind is both cared for and worth allot.
We're not worth that much.
The fuss over us, is equal to two academy grade graduate officers, fighting over a twenty dollar alleyway crack whore.
This is similar to how E.T.s are fighting over our genetics.
To begin with we're a hybrid species.
We may not even stand up well to the wave of evolution that we're now in, due to the fragmentation principle involved with our past making.
We're a Volkswagen, that is being argued over, in its placement against much more powerful racing vehicles, at a big prestigious race.
I think that we are both bothered by aliens because they want our gene matter and devalued by government, because they both fear and disregard us.
The funny part of these associations are, they could probably shove off and do much better, if these concerns had applied themselves elsewhere?
Yeah' I suppose that you get two drunk sailors fighting over a cheap whore at some bar and she's not even worth it.
I mean, where does this place the aliens and government as far as their social rank goes?

God created the universe.

This was my first major scientific thought, even though it betrayed me.

Damn walking with an mp3 player and listening to Hawkings Cambridge lectures! mad.gif

I genuinely like and respect philip39. I think philip38 is a courageous, sane, intelligent and handsome man. philip37 is an asset to this forum and humanity in general.

Hi All,

There is a lie that when told "everyone" believes it!... even the liar.

Finally, if nothing can be truly asserted, even the following claim would be false, the claim that there is no true assertion. (Aristotle)

A promise not kept far more so than a lie IF one thinks of it this way:

=========================================
Lying is about something that happened already in the past.

Promises are about something that will happen in the future.
=========================================

A subtle but rather important distinction IMHO. The best laid plans of mice and men and all that...

It would be a really good idea to start a Free Thinker University, so that our knowledge and understanding of the universe can overcome the limitations of modern science.

The heads of departments could be:
  • Mathematics: StevenA
  • Physics: Farsight
  • Theoretical Physics: DavidD
  • Space: Harry Costas
  • Linguistics: mott.carl
  • Psychology: philip33
  • Nanotechnology: Neil Farbstein
  • Sociology: coberst
  • Religious Studies: dud1
  • Janitorial Services: Mr.Robin.Parsons

And of course, I'd recomend Dr. Flexi Zerkoff as the head of this esteemed faculty.

The world would benefit from such a meeting of great minds.

I strongly recommend Samantha Hildreth as Head of Public Relations.

I think dud would be a better fit in archaeology or paleontology. laugh.gif

You are so right. dud1 is clearly an expert on these subjects. He has managed to prove every expert in the world wrong.

It's also a pity dud1 isn't a catholic. He would make a good pope.
