"We saw beautiful tissue growth - lots of muscle fibers," Tian said. "We"ve added one more function to the currently-in-use titanium implant."
This is encouraging in no small way. For tissue growth (muscle fibers) to occur at the cellular level in this setting several processes must be in place. Vaguely put, the anabolic and metabolic processes of cellular regeneration and cellular maintenance.
It makes me wonder if all that is needed now is merely a vitamin supplement to continue that structure (muscle fiber) building onto an otherwise foreign molecule. I suppose the supplement would need to be tailored toward titanium or that implanted nano-wire construct so as not to fail in a decade.
I would definitely look for those investors seeking a challenge to incorporate into their portfolio. Mind you, those long term investors.
