Viagra may be good for boosting a man's sex life, but it also may harm sperm and fertility, according to a new study.
Sperm exposed to the drug appeared more active than untreated sperm. But the Viagra also appeared to damage the acrosome, a cap-like structure that produces enzymes to help penetrate the egg, the report said.
The second test found that mice given Viagra produced 40 percent fewer embryos than other mice.

What a bargain, harder, longer, and birth control to boot.

What percent of men who use viagra are even TRYING to procreate?

I'd have to assume its a VERY small percent.

I wonder if anyone has done studies (of course they are) about "beneficial" side affects. I have noticed (other than the effects it was designed for) better breathing and a big boost in ambition. this is psychological but very noticeable. It took a while to be able to put a name on it but I finally concluded that ambition was the proper word to describe this side effect. I have not noticed this with any other ED drug, although one (Cialis)<sp> did produce one hell of a headache. I also saw something about using it for high altitude climbing and fighter pilots.
And of course the nursing homes could use it on the older males at night to keep them from rolling out of bed. tongue.gif

Ahaha, here's a joke i came across about Viagra and old men!

An old man went to see his doctor and asked for a prescription of Viagra.
The doctor said, "That's no problem. How much do you want?"

The man answered, "Just a few,maybe four, but cut each one into quarters."

The Doctor said, "That wont do you any good"?

The old man then replied" That's alright. I don't need them for $ex anymore as I am over 90 years old. I just want "it" to stick up far enough so i don't pee on my shoes.

What can be expected from a drug that cure/fixes anything...

Here is a drug that helps 'relieve' nasal symptoms caused by allergies... One of the relieved problems is indeed congestion.

Here are a few af the 'minor' side effects:
headache;
stuffy nose, sore throat, cough;
muscle or joint pain;
nausesa; or
sores or white patches inside or around your nose.

I think I'll keep my congestion.
