I think what apexstone is trying to tell us, is that high concentrations of granite could be a possible explanation for the space-time anomalies inside the Bermuda Triangle. Does granite have a disproportionately higher mass/volume than other forms of kitchen counter-top? Because as soon as you start dealing with really massive objects, Euclidean geometry goes out the window.
