Space-time Tunnels

If for once we assume that we have actually discovered space-time tunnels and we can possibly make it through them, then how can we possibly perceive the journey through such a so-called "wormhole" ?
We have known sci-fi stories over possible time-travel where the destination is where the thrill starts. But how about the journey itself ? How can you possibly visualise it ?
