hey all,

i just saw this video today, and whoever made it is obviously suggesting this sounds like speech.

http://www.wimp.com/radiosignal/

it's radio signals picked up from saturn. i haven't read much into it but i'm super skeptical that it's anything close to speech.

i want your ideas of what you think it might be. they are indeed three distinct sounds, all very similar, and i'm going to say it's something along the lines of small rocks hitting something or skipping along another rock along saturn's rings or something.

any ideas?blink.gif

the audio is about half way through. the audio is then raised by twelve tones i guess before it's claimed to be speech.

if the sounds were more random or at least different each time i would shrug this off, but they're periodic and almost identical. i'm not advocating aliens, just looking for some insight as to what this might really be.

thanks smile.gif

Hi Paperboy;
I hate to go too far with this lest I get mis-interpreted, but here goes: biggrin.gif

1st; I think you ought to know that there has been significant 'deciphering" of the 'voice print' by compressing the transmission and changing the pitch... and a audible "message" is intelligible. (Not trying to imagine its source, mind you.; there could very well be a natural explanation)).

If you want to hear the message, here's the audible track:

Furthermore there are 11 pages of follow up posts on this topic, its possible explanation, authenticity, etc. (on a dubious web site, but there are some good comments)

Not trying to promote this stuff but just giving you some more info...
Give it a read and tell me what you think .

Not afraid biggrin.gif

To me its not about the errie sound; its about the message.
And it seems that even the die hard believers heard it wrong. They should at least be wearing a hearing aid next time.

They say the voice is saying: " You people are urged to drop the earthly impulse".

However; listen to it again.
Clearly the second to last word is not "earthly"....

It certainly sounds much more like: "You people are urged to drop the harmful impulses".

Now IF it were the voice of some ethereal alien creature that would make more sense.
Listen again and tell me what you think.
Anyone?

Why would that make more sense?

Any of you guys ever throw a rock on the surface of a partially frozen river? I'm inclined to accept the first (and simplest) explaination.

It would make more sense if it says "harmful" impulses because IF the aliens were sensitive to microwave transmissions then they would consider our beaming microwaves at them as "harmful impulses". It's harmful TO THEM, not to us. rolleyes.gif

It would have nothing to do with how we live (morally) on earth.... as most folks try to interpret this.

Sorry for the late response...
