Can we use Scada Process Automation Software/s for real time monitoring of Hydroelectric Power Generated by Dams ?. i.e. Hydroelectric Power Plants.

I Feel it is worth investing in a Scada software package (even it could be costly) as there are business benefits after constructing dam on river.

Real time monitoring and controlling Hydroelectric power generated from Hydroelectric
Power Stations.

I also for a Civil Engineer's Portfolio of Handling different civil engineering Projects, the "DAM" construction Project is very interesting and challenging.
