My neighbor hates me because every other day, he calls me up say another ups package is on his porch.
Guess what side of the road he is on?
I should of known something was wrong with this property. No one would buy it even though the house is fine!

On the serious side, I wonder how much gas goes out the tailpipe when one accident causes a twenty mile back up.
A red light that has no one going through the intersection keeps engines burning fuel and wastes time.
The best use of gas or energy is for the autos to stay in motion until the destination is reached.
You can save energy by actually watching the road! Yes this saves fuel. How?
Watch yourself or others as they accelerate at every light. Not only that, they will stay on someones bumper.(It's like if the don't, they will loose their place, and someone might get ahead of them.
(God forbid someone gets in front of you)
Here is another little trick I learned over the years. Watch ahead when people are coming onto your highway via entrance ramp. You can actually see them and if you let up slightly(instead of fighting for your right to be there)you will find yourself in a comfortable position. The on rampers are happy, and you are safely away from the mess.
The old time truckers used to do this for everyone. It was a quality just known by truckers and auto drivers. Everyone knew truckers were polite, and they often gave you a brake light or blinker to say thanks or go ahead signal.
