i was thinking with the new way to remote control nanomachines you can use them to break down hydrocarbon bonds so we can recycle carbon.we can also use excess carbon in the atmosphere to make bnezene or any other hydrocarbons.

That would be an original use of nanotech. Develop a self replicating device that takes CO2 from the air, water and other elements from teh soil and runs on sunlight and stores the carbon in a form we can use.
