Droes
I saw this experiment (video.google.nl/videoplay?docid=6732382807079775486&q=microwave) on Youtube , and I was wondering what reaction is going on here.

I also saw a variant of this, in which the plasma existed for 57 seconds, when it changed colour to blue with some white sparks in it, before dissolving. Does anyone know why it changed colour?

Thanks in advance!
kaneda
Blue/white is normally very hot but in plasma terms is relatively cool so maybe the reaction slowed and dropped below a minimum temperature?
