i'm new, glad to be here biggrin.gif

i just wanted to see what you guys think about the new perpetual motion machine Perepiteia. google search perpetual motion perepiteia and there's a good article about it with some videos.

i don't know if this is old news but does it seem legitimate? i hardly understood anything he said, just the part about short circuiting the coils biggrin.gif

Not the best of starts!

PPM's, flat Earth, Astrology, (un)Intelligent Design... Just another in a long line of intellectual drivel.

with no information on exactly what is observed, what is unusual, what defies standard logic

and with no information on its structure or basically anything else

I just have no idea, and remain very very skeptical.

The only "perpetual motion" machine I would endorse is one that derived its energy from say, the rotation of the Earth.

Vengineer,

I should first reply to your post by giving you the definition of "perpetual motion" but some how I think you know this already, and you should know that for this to be what it is claimed to be, it would not be plugged into the wall outlet. (perhaps other than for starting)

What it looks to me is that he has a standard off the shelf motor. and a home built PM generator. the secondary coil windings is large enough to cause the generator to require more horse power than the little squirrel motor can produce. This is what makes it slow down. shorting out the coil only causes it to generate less and therefor the motor will speed up. ( he took the load off of it) As for inducing the generator's back EMF into the drive motor, this is nothing new at all. The Internet is full of much bigger setups than this one. the biggest one that I know of was using a 40kw transformer to do this with,, but the owner is now in jail for investor fraud.

It's kinda simple, if you reduce the output of the generator's secondary Field and feed it's output back into the motor's primary Field,, well sure the motor will go faster. But now there is Little or no work being done by the generator and the motor is still being ran from the wall outlet.

On the up side there may one day be something come of back EMF Field feedback loops. but never will it be perpetual motion.

@Zarkov,

>with no information on exactly what is observed,

Or in other words,, you don't have a clue what you saw in the video. ohmy.gif

>what is unusual, what defies standard logic

Nothing in the video defies anything. dry.gif

>and with no information on its structure or basically anything else

Or knowlage of an electric motor/gererators sad.gif

>I just have no idea,

So why did you post a reply to this ? ph34r.gif

Zarkov
no I NEVER look at videos, LOL

If it can not be put into words... then manipulation does nothing for me.

As you pointed out paul H... it is not PM

But PM is possible

and so is much much more... but who cares

Rotating fuel with shifting density is possible if separated within an engine. This perpetual motiion engine would revolutionize how viscosity breakdown is viewed. We are currently seeing fuel with such properties being developed without the engine in mind.

The water screw delivered water to the pan and spun the wheels to complete a cycle. Why couldn't this device be perfected to vary water density? The key is delivering the liquid back around at the same density without interacting with the more dense liquid component.

I beleive I've stumbled across the first real perpetual engine model. Anybody out there comment? I'll simply read without a response if your bashful out there. biggrin.gif

paul h,

you're right, i don't know what i saw, i stated that in my first post... I was just hoping someone here could explain it to me. I thank you for the input biggrin.gif and yes i probably should explain what the observation is. an article i found about it from ottawa skeptics if you want some detail. if you google perepiteia schematics the first link will be their understanding of his machine. it answered my questions. how strange that it speeds up when short circuited though. it explains it generally but i want to find the math behind it.

Vengineer, no problem at all. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression.

Your style reminded me of someone else. tongue.gif

I hope that you understand that my comment about not having a clue what you saw in the video was directed at Zarkov not you.

oh i missed that '@Zarkov' part biggrin.gif Pardon me

Sapo,

no worries i don't see how that's offensive biggrin.gif i'm easy going, don't worry about offending me lol

I'm glad you feel that way, thanks! You'll fit right in! laugh.gif

I hope to never offend unintentionally. tongue.gif
