It is the last message I will ever post in this site. When I initially started using it I assumed that this site is biased free and allows for expression of opinions. Turns out this is only one of the American sites where they cut data and manipulate it as they wish.

And even this thread will be left at PhysOrg Forums. wink.gif I'll just move it to "Comments/Suggestions" forum, it's more relevant.

We appreciate criticism, but not falsity.

You could give any specific examples, rather than hiding behind a guest mask.

It might, of cause, be a mistake and your posts has disappeared after recent crash. It's described above in the red rectangle.

the Bush vs Kerry thread, has 4 discussions
where are they?
where is the one with the guy who said somethign about the future of America if bush is in charge?
it just vaporized?

In fact I gave 2 comments, a gentleman here answered me and then some other guy answered...and all of these were SELECTED FOR CONTENT AND CENSORED. here is your proof...not that you americans, really care for evidence nowadays.

Hi,

Nothing was censored.

If you pay a little bit of attention to the red rectangular on top of any forum page you will see the reason why they disappeared.

We had a database crash. ALL THREADS AND POSTS made after October 6th have been lost.
You will not find any posts on these forums made between Oct. 06 and December 06.
In fact, members registered in this period were lost as well. Most of these people have already re-registered and we got a lot of support from our members helping with threads recovery.

Now look at the thread you mentioned: http://forum.physorg.com/index.php?showtopic=510
The last post made on Oct. 05.

Does it explain everything?

We are very sorry for this misunderstanding.

I appologize for the misunderstanding. I barely noticed the posted notice. In this case, I have nothing but my appologies to offer. Frankly, it is just that recent encounters has made me a little paranoid about the people in....nevermind. Thank you for your respond.

Hi,

Well, pretty stupid situation. On behalf of PhysOrg team, please accept our apologies.

I could find this thread in Yahoo cache, fortunately Yahoo is not as fast as Google.
I added the posts I found, but I'm not sure the thread is complete. Last post now is from Nov. 25

Actually, Zarkov, for the one time in a blue moon, the moderators actually took action and board members, even ones who do not typically get along, "united" in the face of a common enemy.

As for the moderators and the flood spamming issue, in proportion to the criticism they received for doing nothing, they should also be granted their proper dues in my opinion for stepping up to the plate and cleaning up the board, even if in slightly delayed fashion. I am sure the task of deleting all those posts, perhaps requiring even the writing of a script or two, was rather time consuming and rather thankless.

So let me just take this moment now to at least thank the moderators by way of this response to you. They deserve that much.

Best,
Raphie

Hi Moderators and everyone,

I would like to express the greatest admiration for these guys and it seems that for a while at least we are going to be free of the nasty spam problem.

I hope that those who expressed the view that they were leaving will all return "in peace".

Great Job Guys(and gals?)
