I set my PHEV to charge at midnight and I buy wind energy to charge it up. It takes about 4 KWs every night and for my commute I only need to fill up with gas once a month. Other PHEV owners are getting over 1600 miles for using only ten gallons of gas. I don’t know why people are not screaming to have more PHEVs on the road, and more PHEVs that are trucks, SUVs, and sports cars. I’ll just keep saving the $400.00 a month I save over using my Yukon for commuting to work until everyone else catches on. See Youtube “PHEV”
