Always wondered if I used carbon nanotubes in a process, and had leftover, what do I do with it?

I figure it would be recycled if possible, because if it had to be dumped, that's no small deal. Aside from the primary toxicity concern, there is also the potential for theft by going through the waste, if that is considered theft.

Is there any way to recycle nanotubes once scraped from the wall of the equipment?

I wont say what I dont know about making nanotubes, but a sickening fact I do know is that for every ton of carbon used to make cabonfiber one ton of waste water is also produced and it is not recyclable, the reason for this waste is because most carbon products of this verity are made from plastic which is made from oil....
