While I think this is a terrific achievement, I am somewhat disappointed that most of these technological projects are geared towards electronic or other manufacturing applications.
When will it be possible to use this technology to see inside a person"s liver, heart, etc? That is MORE important than whether an electronic circuit has been made properly or not, in my opinion.
