Ultralow temperatures near absolute zero were used for this experiment. This is as far from commercialization as possible.

I cannot help but wonder what can be both structurally cohesive while storing data as well as adaptive in keeping, releasing, and retaking new data bits at this molecular level. It begs the question of just how refined can the nuclear strong and nuclear weak forces at the atomic level can get.
