What you need to do is to use the reactance of inductors and capacitors to either:
Shunt the freq's you don't want and / or pass the freq's that you do want.
Look at the formulas X(L) = (2 pi) X (f) x (L) and X© = 1/[(2 pi) x (f) x ©]
The higher the freq, the more the resistance of and inductor and the lower the resistance of a capacitor and vice versa.
A high pass filter will use a capacitor in series and an inductor in shunt, and a high pass is just the opposite. A band pass is a little more tricky, but you can use a pi network of caps and inductors to block or shunt the freq's you don't want and pass what you do.
