Was just reading about and wondered, where do they actually appoint the moderators on this board from? Do certain people receive some sort of secret liaison from the higher powers at PhysOrg if they fulfill the requirements by posting here or do job positions open up and get advertised? Anyone know?
No I'm not after a job I just wonder who/where the moderators are from.

The moderators here (if they are here) are mysterious. On most boards, moderators are participants on the board that everyone knows who they are. Here they are more like the Illuminati...operating from the shadows.

Is popcorn a main constituent in their diet? We may have discovered a new species living off a new ecosystem of popcorn, I'll call them popcornophiles.
