Sapo
I will close the Joint to guests as of June 23.

If you wish to join, you still may, but I also may summarily delete your membership.

I will no longer post here, or respond to PMs from here. Go to hell.

Sapo is a friend. And loyalty is important. Not that my posts had much (or for that matter any) physics content, I too shall not post here again. (Maybe.) (Edit: No definitely.)

I reconsidered closing the Joint to guest viewers, but I hold to the rest of what I said.

Not a bad idea Sapo. I'm out for now as well.

So, Sapo, where and how-for may we attribute this outburst? You're obviously, it seems to me, frustrated, and I'd actually kind of like to know why...

An emissary for you, Sapo, gave a little nudge, and guess what? It worked. I am now Dis-Disjointed... :-)

A certain forum member (ahem newguy ahem) here tried to use the joint to dig up dirt with which to whine an moan an try to make points about other members here. The Joint has a strict NO PHYSORG DRAMA policy. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but the unnamed (ahem newguy ahem) member in question actually created an account an recieved a warm welcome, then declared his intent to never actually post there. He then followed that by attemptin to access the joint 15 times after bein blocked, so we can all understand why Sapo'd be a bit miffed. I would, too. The Joint is where us folk go when we get sick o wallowin in the juvenile crap that goes on here, no matter how much we enjoy the drama here, the joint is not the place for it.

So true Mr Pants ..... the Joint is where 'normal' people can discuss blissful stuff, free from the screaming ravings of crazed "look @ me" *ahem newguy-esque ahem* type psychosis.

Mature people without the drama of this place? How do I go about getting a referral? Who has the authority to hand out referrals?

I'm afraid those who try to force their beliefs on others and reject all points of view except their own will never get an invitation.
