If there is an ice age placed upon Earth as the Pentagon has said in a press release statement, then the following conditions might be present.

1.This might be, a change in planetary rotation coupled with a change in weather patterns.

2.There might be a corresponding tone, sent from nature herself to all organisms involved in the process of evolutionary change.
This tone, might be a two way communications network, to where nature itself hears how that particular animal is doing, in the midst of their change.

3.Occasional drastic uncrontolled weather patterns, to effect change over a wide area, so that the inception of new species may be more acclicable.

4.An encouraged by nature migrations, so that animals who have already reached a certain level ,of relative sophistications, within their being makeup can move, or get out of the way of the process of intended evolution for not so advanced animals.

This action might be a planetary wide phenomenon, which functions in a wave, as part of the character of the entire planet. So more than likely the very wide effects of the ice age evolutionary wave, for the most part is a species chooses to stay on that particular planet, would be inescapable.

to philip 347 "if there is an ice age placed upon Earth ... the following condition might be present "--conditions listed in items 1-4 basically solves Dynamic model accordinly climatic belts ans zones of linear displacement Ms (h'-h"')

Next glacial period due in 50,000 years.

Glaciologically, ice age implies the presence of extensive ice sheets in the northern and southern hemispheres; by this definition we are still in an ice age (because the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets still exist).

Something is jagged upped with the weather and climate, or the weather would not be acting like it has been..?
