Question : Find the thermal expansion coefficient for a one dimensional chain of argon atoms.

This question is from Cleland's Book "Foundation of Nanomechanics: From Solid State Theory to device Applications: Chapter 1 question 1.18

Need some help how to get the coefficient as i read the notes but couldn't get the answer, hope to get replies soon and if you guys know any good website for reference regarding Nanomechanics course please share with me, i will appreciate that. Thanks!!
