The iPhone has barely been out for a month, and already there is a "security" patch for it. Here we go again; the consumers being used as unpaid beta testers... and this on a device that costs around $600, with a mandatory two year, $60/mo service fee, and a battery that is hard wired and costs $75 to get replaced... What a great money pit!

Well, I have an iPhone and can't say enough good things about it.

My guess is Apple and AT&T will resolve the battery replacement charge soon since they want to sell new iPhones.

Everything's got a patch today! I don't care if you use a Mac, PC or two tin cans and a string. At least they are on top of solving unforeseen problems.

I've been in places where my laptop can't pick up a signal but the Safari comes through. The email feature and texting is amazing. I'm synced up to my Outlook at all times.

Happy as an Apple in the Garden of Eden.

does anyone else hates the idea of using itunes to manage the iphone or is it just me? oh, and wait how about the commercials that talk down to you, like we don't know any better. seems that with all the cumbersome setup, security cocerns, and recurring costs, this phone will likely run down your wallet faster than it can wow you with its usefullness.
