Great idea. Sort of.

But grannie and granpa are going to want to SEND email once they"ve mastered this.

Presto"s going to have to get itself a keyboard/screen/harddisk pronto, unless it wants to go the way of all half-baked ideas, great or not.

Wouldnt it be better if it had a built in scanner, which scans a written page and sends it to an email recipent. So the comunication would be two ways. This would make it a more usable tool for the older generation.

We have a office printer at work which allows you to scan and email documents from it. Not sure if it can receive emails though. It seems all the technology is there, but we just need to put the two ends together.
