I need to know if anyone can help me how to combine the 2 range in FTIR. I am studying the Infrared vibrational modes in my samples. There are some modes in the low wavenumber range (Far IR 50-600cm-1) and in the mid wavenumber range (mid-IR 400-4000 cm-1). Unfortunately, I dont have a software (if there is any?) that will combine this 2 IR range.

The IR machine that we used in our lab is NExus 870 FTIR. I dont know how to combine the 2 IR range because the 2 range are using different type of beam splitter and detector. For example, to get Far IR spectrum, I have to use DTGS detector with polyethylene window and polyethylene beam splitter. To get mid IR, I have to use DTGS detector with KBr window and KBr beam splitter.

I will appreciate if there are any suggestions?
