The ultimate pursuit of truth SOUNDS fun, but seriously any of these products should be carefully considered before being put to use. I would understand using these for an investigation, but THAT"S IT. You KNOW that cops are going to carry these things around, so that if they ask you the question "Do you know why I pulled you over?" and you respond "No sir" they are instantly able to know that instead of the "no sir" you were really thinking "yeah, I"m late for work and you ate too many doughnuts bub!"

My insurance rates are sky high as it is being a 21 year old male with prior violations, I can"t IMAGINE what I would do if I were caught in my little "police fibs" every time I were pulled over...

it"d probably make me drive safer...hmm...maybe I should rethink my argument!

On the other hand, imagine a "reliable" lie detector used to inquire our politicians about their intentions in a campaign, or about corruption issues. That would be very amusing. Imagine a live tv show, with the candidate wired to the machine, and receiving question by phone from the voters. Hummm!

Yeah. Lie detector results are not qualified to serve as evidences in court cases. That means they're not really reliable. Moreover, that equipment can also be cheated.
