Hi, first timer here.
I would like to get some advice from you about running e-beam evaporation on to PMMA surface.
Some requirements:
10nm thick coating
No Cr/Ti allowed
adhesion has to be good. (doesn't come off / scratch off easily)
My concern is that heat from gold particle could potentially weaken the bonding on the PMMA. (I am not sure what would be a good evap rate for this.)
Also, does the gold bond well on hydrophobic surfaces like PMMA? If not, is there a good way of preparing samples? (ie. adhesion promoter having hydrophobic and hydrophilic groups, oven dry)
Thanks,
Mike.
