And I can understand how someone nice who takes the time to help you may be seen as a fraud....after all, your role models must have been some real doozies if what you have demonstrated/told us is true.
Nice people exist. Learn to live with it...because at this very moment, one (male or female) may be coming round the corner towards you....and possibly may end up your 'life partner' who will help wipe away whatever unfairness/deficiencies you have experienced in your parental/guardianship up till now.
I have done what I could. The rest is up to you and any future 'partner' you find to help you 'come out of it'.
