What a bunch of bunkum on the the French (Dassault Systems) figuring out how the great pyramids were built. http://www.physorg.com/news94494073.html Though quite possibly correct, that theory has been around over and over again. I first heard it about 45 years ago and several times since then. What are they going to discover next, the internet? tongue.gif

What you are thinking of is the theory of OUTER ramps. The new French theory deals with a spiral ramp INSIDE the pyramid. Many tall buildings are built around cranes and such which are then left inside buildings which appears not to be a recent idea.

The outer spiral ramp idea makes more sense.

Survey the ground, flood and use the water level to get it perfectly flat and level. Build one layer, resurvey and make sure this one is level. Build next layer, resurvey, and so on.

This new theory seems over complicated.

The new theory gets a very loud "Poppycock" from this researcher!
Of course many a mind will buy what they are saying, but in reality
"They have no Idea what they are talking about. "

I have an alternate theory it is simple and very practical it is posted at austech.info under general chat
