I have a couple ideas i'de like to run by you all, that would use everyday household items to generate electricity.
First is a small generater motor that would be placed around the shaft of a fan. The spinning shaft could hold the magnets so there would be little friction.
Think about a box fan with an electrical outlet built into it powered by the fan itself,
or a ceiling fan with lights powered by the fan.
If possible, any electric motor in your house could generate energy to store in batteries or for immediate use.
Second is a more of a question......could you use the wind of a fan to power wind turbines to creat electricity. What I mean is could a fan creat enough wind to power wind turbines that would put out more energy than the fan is using?
The wind could be directed in special ways and/or it could power many wind turbines. Even if it only produced 10% more power, the initial enegy could be sold back to the power company and the rest used for home use.
**This one is not be viable for household fans but a large unit and speacial design could be an idea.
